So it turns out the LHC at CERN is up and running and the world didn't end... yet! I am a little disappointed but I do have something to cheer up the TW fans on my flist.

I have spent the best part of today in a state of heightened, um, excitement thanks to my new girl. For LJ purposes I'll call her Elsie and she seems to know exactly how to deal with me.
